My research sources are all scholarly sources which have important information regarding social media use and addictions. Some of these sources are from specific areas such as the medical field. This allows me to have a source to give specific example about what I am writing about. The media I am using in the essay is social media as it is one of the most popular forms of media in the world currently. This form of media supports my topic as I can give clear examples of how social media addiction is such a destructive problem in the modern world. This media includes different platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. this media can be used for a variety of reasons across a variety of fields.
